Action on Smoking and Health (UK)

Action on Smoking and Health (ASH (UK)) is a campaigning public health charity that works to eliminate the harm caused by tobacco based in London. The organisation is headed by the Chief Executive, Deborah Arnott, and governed by a Board of Trustees.

ASH (UK) aims to develop opinion and awareness of the tobacco epidemic while also pressing for policy measures that will reduce the burden of addiction, disease and premature death attributable to tobacco. ASH (UK) also provides the secretariat for the All-party Parliamentary Group on Smoking and Health in the UK Parliament.

The Smoke Free Partnership receives operational funding from the European Commission. The views expressed in this website do not necessarily reflect the official views of the EU institutions.

The Smoke Free Partnership is...

a partnership between Cancer Research UK, the European Heart Network and Action on Smoking and Health (UK). We aim to promote tobacco control advocacy and policy research at EU and national levels in collaboration with other EU health organisations and EU tobacco control networks.
