Cancer Research UK (CR-UK) is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Based in London, CR-UK is led by Chief Executive Officer, Harpal Kumar, and governed by an Executive Board. CR-UK fund research into more than 200 types of cancer and work with the governments in Westminster, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Europe to campaign on issues important to their scientists and supporters. In particular, they work to ensure that a comprehensive tobacco control plan is implemented in the UK, and advocate for similar initiatives worldwide.

a partnership between Cancer Research UK, the European Heart Network and Action on Smoking and Health (UK). We aim to promote tobacco control advocacy and policy research at EU and national levels in collaboration with other EU health organisations and EU tobacco control networks.
