Irish Cancer Society

The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) is the largest cancer charity in Ireland. Our vision is for a future without cancer and our mission is to eliminate cancer. Founded in 1963, the Society is working towards four key goals in pursuit of this vision and mission: reducing risk; improving lives, leading collaborative research, informing and influencing public policy. As Ireland remains a world-leader in tobacco control, the Society works at national, European and global level towards a tobacco free future.

The Smoke Free Partnership receives operational funding from the European Commission. The views expressed in this website do not necessarily reflect the official views of the EU institutions.

The Smoke Free Partnership is...

a partnership between Cancer Research UK, the European Heart Network and Action on Smoking and Health (UK). We aim to promote tobacco control advocacy and policy research at EU and national levels in collaboration with other EU health organisations and EU tobacco control networks.
