Kristina joined the team of Smoke-Free Partnership (SFP) in 2015 as Junior Policy Officer, contributing to the successful fulfilment of the policy goals of the organisation.

Kristina holds both Bachelor and Master Degrees in European Studies: Politics and International Relations from Maastricht University. There she acquired extensive knowledge on the workings of the EU, on different policy spheres such as EU public health policy and practicalities of policy making, as well as developed very good research, writing and communication skills.

Prior to joining SFP Kristina worked for the pharmaceutical full-line wholesaler association-GIRP, where she dealt with topics such as counterfeit medicines and the European Medicines Verification System (EMVS).  She also gained experience in the Brussels-based think-tank ThinkYoung, the only think-tank that focuses solely on youth related issues and policies.  Kristina has also worked at the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, where she gained insight into the business sector in Belgium.
