Norwegian Cancer Society

The Norwegian Cancer Society (NCS) is a voluntary, non-profit civil society organisation which works for cancer prevention and control in Norway and internationally. It contributes to targeted efforts in cancer information, prevention, advocacy, research, care, and international cooperation. The Norwegian Cancer Society’s main objectives are to ensure that: 

fewer people develop cancer 

more people survive cancer

people affected by cancer have the best quality of life 

The activities of the Norwegian Cancer Society are funded thanks to the generous contributions of its members, bequests, and allocations form the national lottery funds”.
